Performing in the World: American High School Theatre Festival—NEW!

Overview

The Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the American High School Theatre Festival. The Fringe Festival is the largest performing arts festival in the world. This year we are proud to be presenting an original work created by students in our “Identity” course in collaboration with Andover Dance Group. Our students are focused on investigations of how their identities intersect with issues of race, class, gender, and sexuality. The student ensemble will perform for an international audience, and while on tour, attend shows from all over the world. During the tour, the ensemble will be exposed to other theatre and dance students from all across the country and will be immersed in an international performing arts community.
