Mindfulness-Based Communication for Connection (MBCC)
Offered by the Tang Institute and led by mindfulness teacher Alison Cohen, this series is a unique opportunity to explore concrete MBCC tools you can put to immediate use in your own life and relationships.
Drawing on tenets of mindfulness, nonviolent communication, Insight Dialogue, and research by the Gottmans and Brené Brown, MBCC tools help us build stronger relationships with those in our lives by developing more skillful, compassionate communication skills.
Alison teaches these tools because they have had a powerful impact on her life and the lives of many people she knows. Each experiential session will be grounded in the 5Ps of MBCC (to be discussed!) and will involve guided reflection, experiential exercises and practices, and discussion.
Although the series is cumulative — with each week building on the next — each session also stands alone. You are warmly welcome to register for as many or as few of the sessions as your schedule allows.
Please be prepared with a pen and notepad for optional written reflection.
To register, visit the Eventbrite page at the link below.
