The Tang Institute is excited to continue to host discussions, workshops, and other opportunities this year as part of our ongoing “Mindfulness Speaker Series”. The series will continue in the winter with two events led by mindfulness and meditation instructor, Matthew Hepburn. The Andover and broader communities are invited to join in these upcoming conversations to explore mindfulness in daily life:
- Friday, January 31: Keynote presentation, 7 p.m. in Davis Hall; additional details and registration information available here: https://goingbeyondmindfulness…
- Saturday, February 1: Daylong workshop, 10 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. in Davis Hall; additional details and registration information available here: https://mindfulnessworkshopund…
Please note that both of these events will take place in Davis Hall, located inside the McKeen Building on Abbot Campus. If you are using a GPS or web-based map, please use “1 Abbot Campus Road” as the address. This is the closest address to the entrance of Abbot Campus.
In addition to street parking on Salem Street, parking for the event will be available at the Graves lot, a short walk from the Abbot Campus. Signs will direct you to Davis Hall from the Graves Lot.
Join Us: Weekly Sits
The Tang Institute’s regular mindfulness sessions are also underway. Regular drop-in sits take place every Tuesday at 8 a.m. and noon in the Tang Institute. All are invited to attend.
