For the 2023 – 2024 school year, the Tang Institute is excited to support Faculty Fellows who will work collaboratively on projects that engage the core of the academic program here at PA and have the potential to connect in a sustained way to learning happening outside of Andover.
As in the past, we seek to support faculty teams who will work together on a common project that is interdisciplinary in nature. Examples of Institute work that model the importance of this multi-teacher, multi-disciplinary approach include:
- the ethi{CS} project, which integrates ethics into computer science and STEM classes;
- a new 10th grade version of the Workshop that will have students take English, History, and Rel-Phil classes in the same term with a common theme;
- and the 9th grade transitions committee, which is researching ways to support our youngest students.
