We hope you join us on Thursday, October 22, at 5:30 p.m. Eastern for a conversation with participants from the ethi{CS} summer project. This past summer, nearly forty educators came together to discuss ways to deliver a CS curriculum that offers both ethical and technical training to students. This panel, open to the public and featuring educators who participated in the summer project, will be an opportunity to hear how they are implementing the ideas shared in August. The conversation is hosted by Tang Institute fellows Kiran Bharwaj and Nicholas Zufelt, with insight from:

  • Sarah Judd (AI4All) speaking about her design of an AI Ethics curriculum
  • Carol Artacho (Phillips Academy) discussing how she is having her robotics students use ethical matrices to better understand what’s at stake in technology design
  • Visa Thiagarajan (KIPP Navigate College Prep) talking about her use of culturally situated design tools in her AP Computer Science courses

To RSVP, please fill out the google form. We hope you will join us!
